Why Update to Windows 10?
Category : Updates
Windows 10 is coming July 29, 2015, are you ready? I personally will be updating my laptop but not my primary workstation. I will be updating my laptop so I can become familiar with the new Operating System, and be able to support my clients who decide to upgrade. Although Windows 10 will be free for whichever device you plan to update (Offer is valid for qualified Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices). I do NOT recommend this in the early stages of the Released to Market (RTM) . There are also some catches, one for example with Windows 10 unlike other versions of Windows there is no option to delay or uninstall a windows update.
It does appear that Windows 10 will eventually be widely accepted as a stable home and business platform and it has some very powerful features. From testers experience with some of the pre release versions some say it has the stability of Windows 7 and the robustness of Windows 8. It will also be a familiar upgrade for people who did not update to Windows 8.
Often when new Operating Systems are RTM, what I have learned is that bugs are discovered, software’s not compatible, etc. There should be no rush to update as the (update free) option will be available for a full year from it’s release. Below this blog post you will find some links that you may find to be helpful in making your decision.
